The results are in, and Comalatech is pleased to share that our new app PEPR for Confluence has won an Honorable Mention in the “Apps for Business” category of Codegeist 2021.

PEPR for Confluence lets you separate your draft from your finished content. Teams can collaborate freely on documents inside Confluence, then publish those documents to PEPR Libraries, cleaned of any old comments, page history, or other unapproved draft content. From there you can organize those documents into Collections that can be accessed by team members. End users don’t need to wade into a complex wiki navigation tree to see the right documents, Collections bring together everything they need in one spot.

The app was developed over a few weeks, the result of a lot of teamwork and individual hard work. A result like this is never the accomplishment of any single person, and in this case we relied heavily on contributions from our Product, Development, and Marketing teams. An extra wrinkle to this competition was the focus on Atlassian’s new Forge platform in the Cloud. We had a lot of learning to do, and not much time to do it, but as usual our team was up to the task. Now we have a much clearer picture of how Forge will be beneficial for our customers, and we’re excited to see how it shapes up over the coming months.

Comalatech has a long history with Codegeist. In fact, we might not even be around if not for winning the inaugural event back in 2008. Since then, we’ve been lucky enough to win a few more awards over the years, including an Honorable Mention last year for our Comala Read Confirmations app, which was our first product built entirely in Forge.

We’re not stopping here, we have plans to refine and improve PEPR for Confluence to get it ready for general release to the public. Want to be among the first to try it? Just use the form below to sign up and we will let you know when it is ready to try.
